You've spent years making sure everyone else is okay. It’s time someone made sure you’re okay too.

You're not burned out because you're weak. You're burned out because you've been carrying everyone else's weight while quietly ignoring your own. I help women find their energetic truth, so they can stop surviving their life and start consciously choosing it.

You make decisions by thinking about everyone else first.

How they'll feel.

What they'll need.

Whether they'll be disappointed.

And somewhere in the middle of making sure everyone else is okay, you quietly disappeared from the equation.

The exhausting part isn't the giving. It's that you've been doing it for so long, you barely notice anymore. It's automatic. Invisible. Just the way things are.

You don't need someone to tell you to "set better boundaries."

You need someone who can see what you can't, the invisible rules you've been living by, the old agreements you didn't realize you were still honoring, the places where your energy is working against you, the choices you didn't even know you had.

Because underneath the overthinking, the guilt, the obligation, and the endless second-guessing, you already know what you want.

You've just gotten out of the habit of trusting it.

You might recognize yourself here:

  • You automatically think about how everyone else will feel before asking yourself what you want.

  • You explain your decisions before anyone has even questioned them.

  • You wait for a "good enough reason" to rest, spend the money, say no, or change your mind.

  • You feel responsible for other people's disappointment.

  • You tell yourself it's easier if you just handle it.

  • You spend so much time taking care of everyone else that your own needs become an afterthought.

And after a while, it just feels normal. Exhausting, but normal.

The Energetic Truth Process

My proprietary three-phase coaching method

Most coaching starts with your thoughts. Mine starts with your energy, because what’s happening underneath can quietly shape your choices, even when you consciously want something different.

Phase 1 — Feel

Before we talk strategy or action, I feel what's actually happening energetically. I locate the gap between what you say you want and what your energy is quietly creating. I feel where things are off, where you're out of alignment, where you're carrying weight that was never yours to carry, where your energy is running patterns you didn't consciously choose.

We all have blind spots. Sometimes you need someone who can see what you can’t.

Phase 2 — Reveal

I bring awareness to what you couldn't see before, or weren't ready to see. The invisible rules. The places you're lying to yourself, not out of dishonesty, but out of habit. The beliefs you inherited so long ago they feel like facts.

This is the moment that changes everything. Not because I tell you what's wrong, but because you finally see it yourself. And once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Phase 3 — Return

Here’s what most of my clients discover: they were never lost or stuck. And neither are you.

You’ve just been harder to hear beneath obligation, invisible rules, and years of dropping to the bottom of your own list.

Once we feel what’s really happening and reveal what you couldn’t see before, something shifts. You don’t find a new version of yourself.
You find the version that was there all along.

You return to your own instincts. Your own desires. Your own knowing.

And from that place, decisions stop feeling complicated. Choices stop feeling selfish. Life stops feeling like something happening to you and starts feeling like something you’re actively, consciously living.

That’s the return. You find your way back, and this time, you stop leaving yourself behind.

Feel. Reveal. Return.

This is how we work together.

Client: I'm stressed about seeing my family on this trip.

Me: Do you have to?

Client: They're family. Of course I do.

Me: Says who? You’re an adult, this is your vacation.

Long pause.

Client: ...I don't have to see them?

Those moments happen all the time.

Not because I have the perfect advice.

Because sometimes we've been living by invisible rules for so long that we forget they're optional.

That’s the Reveal — the moment you see something you couldn’t see before, and what felt complicated suddenly becomes clear.

My job isn't to tell you what to do. It's to help you connect to your energetic truth until your own answer becomes obvious.

From there, we make it practical. Every session ends with something real:

  • A conversation you'll have.

  • A decision you'll make.

  • A boundary you'll keep.

  • A way of showing up that feels more like you.

What this looks like in a real session

Why this work matters to me

I know how easy it is to become so focused on everyone else’s needs that your own quietly slip to the bottom of the list.

Even recently, I caught myself trying to talk myself out of booking a massage I could easily afford. The money wasn’t the issue. I could justify spending it on other people without a second thought. Spending it on myself? Suddenly I had a list of reasons I didn’t really need it.

And there it was. An old pattern I knew very well.

For ten years, I worked in television production, managing crews of over a hundred people, million-dollar budgets, and schedules that left almost no room for a life outside of work. From the outside, I was successful. I was well paid. I had incredible friendships.

But the life that looked so good on paper no longer felt like mine, or enjoyable.

Eventually, my body made it impossible to keep ignoring what I already knew. I quit without a plan. I spent the next few years discovering who I was when I wasn’t measuring my life by how much I could handle, accomplish, or do for everyone else.

That journey eventually led me to coaching and to something I now believe deeply:

People don’t just want to be helped. They want to feel like they matter.

They want their story to be worth someone’s full presence. They want space to hear themselves again. And sometimes, they need someone who can recognize the patterns keeping them stuck, and help them realize those patterns can change.

I know the cost of choosing the responsible path until you barely recognize yourself in it anymore.

I also know how much can change when you stop abandoning yourself inside the life you worked so hard to build.

That’s why I do this work.

What clients are saying

“As the saying goes, behind every successful coach is another great coach!! :)) I met Joey in our coaching program, to which our experience together created a friendship and respect for each other that extended long after we finished the program. I reached out to Joey for coaching support recently, when I was in a ‘funk’ and felt very stuck in my energy, feelings and thoughts. Knowing I needed both an outside perspective & someone in my corner, I immediately reached out to Joey to receive coaching. Having a network of coaches at my fingertips, I just knew she was the right coach to help me move forward. Joey has a beautiful ability to bring professionalism, intuition & a gentle nudge of accountability into each coaching session. After 9 sessions, I was in a completely different space then when I first started with her. My funk was gone, I was realigned with my intention & purpose - and all of the decisions I knew I needed to make (but wasn’t) were finally made. Instead of feeling stuck, I felt like I was back in a flow. Life felt lighter, thoughts/feelings felt positive & life started working for me again. I highly recommend Joey as a coach. If you’re contemplating it, I suggest you dive head first into working with her.”

“I have done several coaching sessions with Joey and she has a wonderful blend of several qualities: she is able to recognize patterns intellectually and in her head, meets me with compassion and an open heart, and is guided by her wonderful intuition and instinct. Weaving all of these qualities makes her a dynamic and vital coach. She also has the courage to call things exactly as they are, and that has helped me own my stories and experiences. I recommend Joey to anyone who is looking to take more ownership of their life!”

“I've worked with other life coaches before but wasn't able to change my perception. Joey asks the questions that allow you to see life differently. It's easy to get stuck in seeing the world one way. It's easy to want to change, to take action to change, and still be stuck. I've made significant progress in my relationship with myself since working with Joey. I am finally able to appreciate myself. I no longer approach every connection from the perspective that others are judging me negatively. I am no longer embarrassed to express what makes me who I am.”

“I believe one of the things that makes a great coach is the ability to shift their clients way of thinking. Joey has done a great job at this. She was able to help me take control of my life by letting go of old thought patterns that were inevitably holding me back from being my best me. She is intuitive and comforting but does not sugar coat things, which I find essential in order to make progress. I have had many ah ha moments working with her and highly recommend her as a coach.”
