Personal Affairs Organizer

Practical, judgement-free support for older adults and their families.

Are important papers piling up?

Is your phone full of apps that confuse more than they help?

Maybe you're the adult child, trying to help a parent manage it all, and everyone's feeling the strain.

YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!‍ ‍

What Is A Personal Affairs Organizer

I’m Joey, a Personal Affairs Organizer and Certified Life Coach.

I help older adults and their families bring order to the documents, devices, and everyday details that have become overwhelming, so life feels lighter now, and easier to hand off later.

When things pile up, it's normal to freeze. I'm not here to judge the pile. I'm here to help you figure where to begin, one step at a time.

Is This You?

  • Papers, medical records, or important documents with no clear home

  • A phone or computer full of passwords and logins you can't keep straight

  • A project you keep avoiding because you don't know where to start

  • Worry about scams, and wanting a second set of eyes before you click or respond

  • Supporting a parent from a distance, and needing someone trustworthy on the ground

  • Family tension because the details keep falling through the cracks

  • You want help—not another reminder of what you should have done already

What I Help With

Organizing important information — A clear home for what matters, so you (and the people you trust) always know where to find it.

Everyday tech help — Passwords, phone and email support, video calls with grandkids, and a second opinion before you click something that feels off.

Decluttering and finishing tasks — The pile, the closet, the project you've been avoiding. Broken into steps, with me beside you.

Liaison with your professionals — With your permission, I help organize questions for your accountant or attorney, keep you copied, and translate the outcome into plain language. You stay informed and in charge.

Support for adult children — You're already stretched between your own kids, your job, and your own home. I can be the steady, in-person support your parent needs, so you're not also carrying the role of project manager on top of everything else. ‍

How We’ll Work Together

We start with a conversation about what feels most overwhelming.

Then we pick one thing—not everything—and take it step by step, at your pace.

No shame, no pressure, no decisions made without you. ‍

The Practical Stuff

Where: In-home visits include free travel within 15 miles of Encinitas. Outside that radius, we'll agree on a fair travel fee before we get started.

Format: Sessions run a 2-hour minimum. Some tasks need your input the whole time; others I can handle solo once we've mapped out a plan together, so you're not tied to my side for every minute.

Privacy: Anything we organize together—your phone, your apps, your accounts—stays between us, and is only kept as long as it's needed to get the task done.

Protection: I'm bonded, so you can feel secure having me in your home and handling your sensitive information.

Boundaries: I provide organizational and practical support—not legal, medical, tax, accounting, or financial advice. When those are needed, I help you gather the right questions and coordinate with the professional you trust; they remain responsible for the advice given. ‍

Why Joey

My background in production management taught me how to manage complexity and see things through. Coaching taught me that people don't need to be judged or pushed, they need to feel seen enough to take the next step. That's how I show up for you. ‍

Ready To Feel A Little Lighter

“I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your help with [my] dad and all of this. I’d be losing my mind if I was trying to manage this on top of his rentals on top of his healthcare, on top of his taxes and on top of his finances, on top of his insurance policies. It takes a village to manage.”
